A Cozy Forest Getaway at Sacred Pines

Escape to the peace and quiet of the woods with a stay in our handcrafted Cedar Cabin, tucked away on 75 acres of private land at Sacred Pines in the Ouachita Mountains of western Arkansas. With 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and space for up to 8 guests, this log cabin is perfect for family adventures, small groups, or couples looking for a rustic retreat surrounded by nature.

Inside, you’ll find everything you need to feel at home — a fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, central heat and air, and the warm character of an original early-1900s fireplace. Step outside to breathe the fresh forest air, sip your coffee on the porch, and watch wildlife wander by.

What makes it special:

  • Hand-crafted logs milled right here on the property for a true rustic charm

  • Peaceful and private location just off Highway 71, surrounded by forest trails

  • Easy access to hiking, fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, and scenic drives

  • Pet-friendly (with advance notice)

Part of the Sacred Pines experience:
Cedar Cabin is part of our larger Sacred Pines property, which also features a Lodge, treehouses, tiny houses, and other unique cabins. You’ll share the land with other guests who are here to rest, reconnect, and explore. Throughout the year, we also host seasonal events like farmers markets, outdoor movie nights, and festivals, as well as weddings and private gatherings. We’ll always let you know if something special is happening during your stay.

Know before you go:

  • Nearest full grocery is about 15–25 miles away — stock up before you arrive.

  • Cell service can be spotty (AT&T and Verizon work best), but WiFi is included.

  • We’re in a dry county (no alcohol sales to-go), but you’re welcome to bring your own.

Unwind, unplug, and make memories in the heart of nature. Book your stay at Cedar Cabin today and experience the beauty of Sacred Pines!

Peaceful

We stayed in the Cedar Cabin for a week during Christmas. We enjoyed being unplugged from the phones and TV and spending quality time as a family. The cabin was awesome, it had everything we needed. Miranda was a wonderful host. We enjoyed the peaceful property. We walked around the lake and used the kayaks. We enjoyed coffee on the back porch, cooked steaks on the grill, and roasted marshmallows on the fire pit. The food, coffee and people were wonderful at the eatery. The owners were super nice. Hope we get to go again someday. Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful cabin, wonderful trip!

We LOVED everything about Sacred Pined!! The cabin is so beautiful. The surrounding area is just breathtaking. We enjoyed our stay so much that one of my friends said that it was the best accommodation we ever had stayed. Our kids had the best time. Not to mention that Miranda is so accommodating and easy to communicate. We already plan on coming back in fall! :)

More than we could imagine

The cedar cabin was beautiful but the Miranda went above and beyond. We had a busy stay so we missed eating at the cafe but I wished we could have. It was so much bigger than I expected! The hospitality everywhere at Sacred Pines was top notch! It was so peaceful I didn’t even scream at monstrous southern size spider I saw… that is saying a lot. God bless you all.

Cedar Cabin

My husband and I went to visit our grandchildren and keep two of them overnight with us. The cabin is spacious with everything we needed. Perfect gathering place for the entire family. Very comfortable beds and very clean. The outside was the best with lots of space to visit and enjoy the fall colors. So much room for the kids to run and play. Our host, Miranda, is a super host! We will definitely visit again.
